Can I deduct home pest control if I have a home office?

Yes.  You can deduct the amount of pest control expense that is applicable to that portion of your home.

For example: If your home is 2,000 square feet and your home office is 200 square feet and you paid $100 for pest control, then (200/2,000) x $100 = $10 can be deducted for your home office.

To clarify, do you have a pest control business or are you asking if you can deduct this as an expense on your personal residence?

Can I deduct home pest control if I have a home office?

It depends if you use your home office for a business. It would need to be a business that would prompt you to file a Schedule C and you claim a Home office expense.  This would be a business that you operate independently and not a

home office you use working from home as an employee.

Pest control services would be considered an indirect expense as you report your home office expense in Schedule C.
