It depends if you use your home office for a business. It would need to be a business that would prompt you to file a Schedule C and you claim a Home office expense.  This would be a business that you operate independently and not a 

home office you use working from home as an employee.

 

Pest control services would be considered an indirect expense as you report your home office expense in Schedule C.
