You paid the taxes in 2024 by writing a check for payment with a date in 2024 on the check. So you can claim the property taxes paid as an itemized deduction on the 2024 Schedule A.

When I started, I clicked the check box for itemized deductions which switched it off the free version. I dont need to itemize. How do I switch it back to free?
