Can I claim 2018 taxes paid on royalties? Where is Form 8949? Can I claim med. ins. premiums?

Yes, when you are in the interview for royalties, there is a place to enter the taxes you paid (such as production taxes) and depletion, again for oil royalties.

You will not find an actual Form 8949 in the TurboTax software, although the interview will produce it for you.  On your Federal return, choose the tab for Wages & Income, then scroll down to the topic Investment Income (you might have to select See more income to view this topic) and Show more.  Then Start or Revisit Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other and complete the interview.

Yes, medical insurance premiums are deductible.  You will find the place to enter them on your Federal return, under Deductions & Credits.
