At first I was told that only child support could garnish your stimulus. Now I'm being told that private debtors can garnish your stimulus as well. I have a lot of medical debt. Sbould I be worried?

The IRS can only offset your stimulus payment only for owed child support, and NOT for any other debts. This is the law.
