As the seller of a home in GA, I paid the buyer's loan origination fees.  Are they deductible on my taxes?

These costs you paid would be considered a closing costs of the sale of the home and will reduce the gain you have on the sale of the property.

They cannot be deducted as points when you would get a new mortgage.
