Yes. Under the new tax law, other investment expenses do not count on your federal return. They do count on the California return. Here is how to enter them:

       Federal
       Deductions & Credits
       Retirement and Investments
       Other Investment Expenses

Investment expenses have three categories: safe deposit fees, investment advisor fees and IRA custodial fees. Which category do ADR fees fall into?

Investment advisor fees would be the best choice. Did you find how to enter them from above?
