Is it possible to amend a Wisconsin State tax return for a Schedule SB subtraction that wasn't initially taken? (The U.S. Armed Forces Active Duty Pay subtraction in this case).
On the Schedule AR - Explanation of Amended Return - which box should be checked?
What should be entered here "Indicate the line reference(s) from the form or schedule for which you are reporting a change and explain in detail the reason for the change."?

Yes, you can amend your state tax return to include the U.S Armed Forces active duty pay subtraction.
General instructions on amending your state return can be found here. Once you start the process of amending your return, please follow the instructions as follows:
On Schedule AR, Explanation of Amended Return, you can put a checkmark next to Wisconsin modifications to federal income.
The line reference for Schedule SB would be Line 18.
Your reason for the amendment would be a simple statement on the reason for the amendment. For example - Amendment of tax return due to change in Line 18 of Schedule SB. The U.S Armed Forces active duty pay income subtraction was erroneously not inputted when previously filed.
