I have an adult daughter, 28. She had no income for 2022. I know I am able to deduct her as a dependent but need to know if I can also deduct her medical expenses for 2022. I paid nearly all her medical for this same period.
If I can deduct these expenses,, where do I enter these.

Yes, if you are claiming her as a dependent on your return and you paid her medical expenses, then you can claim her medical expenses as itemized expenses on your return if you are itemizing instead of taking the standard deduction.
Itemized expenses include mortgage interest, state and local taxes up to $10,000, medical expenses in excess of 7.5% of your AGI and casualty and losses in excess of 10% of you AGI with the first $100 not counting towards the loss.
Medical expenses are only deductible for the amount in excess of 7.5% of your AGI. So, if your AGI is $100,000, only your medical expenses over $7,500 will count towards your Itemized Deductions.
To enter the medical expenses select the following:
So if I am understanding this, I simply add these expenses to the medical deductions I have for myself. there is no separate area to include these deductions.
is that correct/
Yes, that is correct. Add all of the medical expenses together and enter the total under the appropriate medical deduction.
