I am not sure if I check "yes" or "no" when asked if I got "regular payments" from my retirement account. I received tax only funds prior to reaching RMD 11/21/19. There was a mad rush to get 2019 RMD funds prior to 1/1/20. Nothing was regular for those 2 months and still aren't. When I click on "Learn More" it defines "Periodic Payments". One is for a predetermined amount of time and the other is equal annual withdrawals (annuity?). Neither apply to me. How should I answer?

Answer No. In this context, "regular payments" means periodic payments received as an annuity.
Thanks for your quick response. It stopped me from making calls to the IRS and/or my 401K Plan Administrator.
