2022 Deluxe Form 1116 Review error message

Review error message for Form 1116.

Error message demands that line 33 be blank.  It already is and always has been blank.  Form indicates "Do Not File Form".

Review continues to post error message even after deleting and reinputting data of $115 of foreign tax paid.

The message on the Form 1116 indicating "Do Not File" would mean the current form in your program has not been updated for filing.

Have you updated your TurboTax desktop software to the latest release?

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen and then click on Check for Updates.

if this is your total FTC and it's from passive sources - dividends, interest, etc. since it is under $300 the form is not required. how to get rid of the form depends on which form the FTC was entered - ie 1099 div, 1099-int, etc. on the other hand if it's a flowthrough from a partnership, trust or estate you need to complete the required info from the k-3.
