1098-C does not show up on search as shown in the video and in past years; other 1098s do but not C for donation of a vehicle

That form is issued to you from the charity ... so what do you want with a blank form ?

Here is how to find the correct area on your return for the donation of a vehicle:

1. Select Federal from the left side menu.
2. Click on Deductions and Credits near the top middle.
3. Click on, "I'll choose what I work on" on the right.
4. Expand the list and scroll down to Charitable Donations.
5. Click Start or Update to the right of Donations to Charity in 2021.
6. Answers the questions about the charitable organization first.
7. Add your donation of Items.
8. As you proceed, the questions will ask for the information on your 1098-C.

I have the form, in TurboTax when you enter Search for 1098-C that is the one 1098 form that doesn't come up even though the video shows it

It is easy to enter the form yourself in the donations section.

1. It will ask what you donated, click on the Donations to Charity in 2021 box,
2. You may need to click to add another charity.
3. You will be asked who you donated to and what.
4. Select ADD next to Items (clothes, furniture, cars, etc).
5. Then select Ill value them
6. Enter date of Donation
7. continue
8. Choose a category - select Car, boat, or airplane (may be on 1098-C)
9. continue
10. Enter description, value, and method
11. continue
12. Enter purchase information
13. continue
14. Did you receive a 1098-C, enter YES
15. Fill in the information
16. continue
