When you first get started with your state return, you should see a screen that says something like "TurboTax recommends you file as a part-year resident". At the bottom of that page there are options to change this recommendation to something else, such as full-year resident.
Also, make sure that you did not indicate in your Federal return under Personal Info that you had moved to another state during the year. This could trigger the state return to be a part-year return.
It can matter on your state return because if you are considered a part-year resident, then you will be asked to allocate your income for the part of the year you lived in the state. This is not necessary if you are a full-year resident.
