Where do I input a 529 deduction for New York State?
After you answer some basic questions for the New York return you'll be given a chance to make additional adjustments to federal income. You will enter the 529 contribution in the education section.

It does not show education as an option. All it lists is College Savings Plan Contributions and only allows a dollar amount to be entered. There is no Education option.
Please go back to the College Savings Plan Contributions and enter the amount there. If you select Learn More, you will see the college savings plan really means college savings in a SC plan. Contributions to other state plans are not deductible.
Yes, I have done that. I was under the impression you needed to enter more information.
