Why am I not eligible for the MN Education Savings Account contribution credit of $1500 (married filing separate)? My spouse got the $1500, but only $359 credit for me

The MN Education Savings Account contribution credit is 50% of contributions made during the year, up to a maximum of $500. It is also limited by income, and the income limits depend on your filing status.  It could be that you got less because you contributed less or that you got less because your income is higher.  See the link below for more information:
