TurboTax CD\Desktop has two state income tax charges (1) one for the state program and (2) another $25 charge to e-file your state return. Buying the state program allows you to print and mail state tax returns for free.

Received your response that you add a 25.00 fee to the 45.00 + tax you charged me for the state filing.

I have purchased additional states every year for the last 8 years all through turbo tax. and always got the e filing with the purchase price.  Intuit is screwing it's users by adding this fee without making it clear prior to purchasing the state filing.  

I I will find another provider for my taxes in the future.

If you are a New York resident there should not be a fee.  Contact customer service.

Definitely a ripoff since not clarified or upfront about additional charges when selling TurboTax program.
