Can I claim exempt from state tax, if I work part time on the reservation and part time off?

To be exempt, you must be living on the reservation and the wages must be earned on the reservation. If you live on the reservation, you can exempt only the reservation income.

So only the time that I work from home can be exempted? I sometimes work at my employer and sometimes from home.

Yes, if you work remotely but do spend significant time at a location not on the reservation, I would split the income.
