Where to find MN rent credit

I filed and submitted my taxes but I'm not sure if my rent credit was submitted properly. It does not show up anywhere on TurboTax. I would think that it would be in my and then refund but it does not show that amount.

If you are reviewing your Minnesota return, and you claimed and received the Renter's Credit, you will see that amount on Schedule M1REF line 4.  This amount also carries to page 2, line 22 of the Minnesota Form M1.  See the images below for you reference:

If you didn't claim the credit, you can file an amended return for Minnesota and claim it if you qualify.  
 

1. When you go back to your return, one of the first questions is about your living situation.  
2. Continue the questions until you get to the Other Minnesota Credits screen, select the Renter's Credit
3. In the next screen make sure that you meet all the requirements for the credit and if you do, select Yes
4. Select Yes to enter your Certificate of Rent Paid
5. Enter your certificate information on the certificate of rent paid worksheet, make sure to scroll down and complete everything
