Where do I find the Virginia AGI for Dependents for VA state taxes?

It says to "Enter the Virginia adjusted gross income (AGI) for each of your dependents." Where do I find/how do I figure their AGI?

If your dependent's filed their own income tax returns, you can find their Virginia adjusted gross income on

• Form 760 line 9
• Form 760PY line 10
• Form 763 line 9

If your dependents did not file a return their VA AGI will be $0.

So if they aren't required to complete their own return but they do have unearned income that can be reported on my (parent) return, I put zero?

Yes.  If your child did not file their own return, then their AGI would  be $0.
