Per the Maryland Department of Labor Website, the identification number is 52-2006962.

52-2006962 is the Maryland Department of Labor Federal ID  number.  This is provided on the 1099G form. However, the form does not show a State ID number.  The Maryland Department of Labor website also provides the Federal ID number but not the State ID number. TurboTax(R) asks for both the Federal and State ID numbers when taxes are withheld.

Put the same payer's Identification number in the state field.  This will allow you to proceed with your return.

Per the link below, Maryland has indicated you can use the same number for the federal and state forms.
