We have a PA RK-1 for our business. If I mark that I have PA RK-1, it double counts the income, but if I leave it as a K-1 I need to file my return as paper. Any ideas?

The last two years I checked the box and ended up amending our returns when I realized turbotax was double counting.  Paper filing isn't the end of the world, but turbotax tax really should fix this problem.

I'm not seeing any change on the Pennsylvania income tax return in either the amount due or income when I enter a PA amount in the RK-1 section.

If you PA amount is different, TurboTax will use the PA amount instead of federal. If they are the same you can just check the box that you are using RK-1 and leave the PA column blank.

The only other thing I can think of is that you have more than one KRK-1 and you are adding taxpayer amounts to the spouse column or vice versa.

I've had this same problem several years running.  Turbotax populates the PA Schedule E worksheet with Federal K-1 data, and then double counts the income when the PA RK-1 data is entered.  I have to delete the PA RK-1 data and file by mail as a result.
