Unable to print DC return after filing

Hi!

i finished filing federally and for Va (the state I live in) but I filled out DC’s tax stuff and went to save a PDF to print but was never sent to a page with the printable DC return. Any idea how I can print this now? My documents list DC return as “printed and ready to file” but I never saw it. Any help would be awesome!

Unable to print DC return after filing

After you e-file and been accepted, it can sometimes take a return PDF a while to update and be available.  Try these steps and see if you can access the PDF to print. When you open your return back up, do not make any changes in it if it's already been filed. If you have to amend the return later, it has to start off exactly as it was when it was originally filed.

  • Log in at the Tax Home section or "Your Tax Returns & Documents" for 2022, look for a link "Add a State."
  • Click on "Add a State."  (you don't actually add one, it's just to open your return back up)
  • After the return is open, click in the left menu column on TAX TOOLS, and then PRINT CENTER.
  • Then choose "Print, save, view this year's return."
  • The next screen should offer some options to print.
