I see from the threads that I should be able to e-file Ca form 568. I am using TT Home and Business.
I have a business as a single member LLC and do not have inventory. Yet still TT is forcing me to acknowledge and hard copy file the Form 568. But I cannot understand why. I do not meet any criteria that it lists as reasons I should have to hard copy file. One of the exceptions to e-filing is if I am filing form 3885L. I am not. I am however filing form 3885 A.
Can anyone tell me why I am being forced to hard copy file the 568?
Thank you

You might check this link to see if any other forms in your return are not supported for e-filing: California State Forms Lookup.
If all your forms are supported, you might go through the California interview again to confirm your answers about your business.
This is an update to my earlier post. I believe I discovered the problem.
For some reason, TT does NOT make or carry forward any "adjustments to income" made on the form Ca 540 onto the Ca form 568. Even though the CA return form 540 makes these adjustments to income. So you must manually enter the adjustments into the form 568, in order to be able to e-file it.
It would be nice if TT would either do this or simply add it to the reasons they list on the form 568 as reasons why they cannot e-file.
And why they are unable to make the adjustments to income on the form is a mystery.
It should not be necessary to manually enter the adjustments to income, when TT has already calculated them.
