trying to complete e-file of state & fed returns. state keeps saying I have income from another state and taxes due on form 511TX. I did not enter anything there.

If you have another state on your return, TurboTax will automatically carry their taxes to 511-TX.

How about double checking what you entered in boxes 15-17 on your W-2(s) as well as 14-16 on any 1099-Rs?

Can you see your 511-TX? On what line(s) are these false entries found?

I checked all the lines you told me to check and all were correct. The "other" state is not shown. I gave up e-filing in frustration, and changed to mail in. When Fed & St printed, I found no errors and the dollars on 511TX were associated with my state, Oklahoma. Programming glitch in e-file check? I saw a similar discussion from a year ago.
