The Child Tax Credit and Working Family Credits for State Taxes?

Hello there, thank you for stopping by. I'm almost finish with my Turbotax. However, I'm stuck on the Child Tax Credit and Working Family Credit on the State Taxes. On my Federal I already put I can't claim my 1 dependent due to my other partner claiming but I claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) which is a federal credit due to my wage than my partner who exceeded the wage. I want to remove the Child Tax Credit and Working Family Credits from the State Taxes but it’s not letting me edit or decide. It automatically assume I get it. I don’t want the Child Tax Credit or Working Family Credit on my State Taxes. Any help? P.S I had the same issue last year, but my state revenue sent a letter that I can’t claim the Child Tax Credit or Working Family Credit because it’s already being claimed either I call them to cancel or can dispute, which I call to cancel.

To better assist you, could you please clarify what state you are filing?

Since you are eligible for the credit, TurboTax Online automatically gives you the credit.  You should try completing your return on TurboTax Desktop.
