I am being charged for a Florida tax return. Florida has no personal income tax. I know that personal property is taxed in Florida but I don't think that applies.

If you don't have business or rental property assets then you don't need to file a Florida tax return You can delete the state. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3301384
