If you are asking about the TN Consumer Use (Sales) Tax whereby all TN residents must pay use tax when goods are purchased from outside the state of Tennessee and brought or shipped into the state and the seller did not collect sales tax on the purchase. This includes online purchases.

@Clcb If you are itemizing deductions on your federal return and you are entering mortgage interest, etc. then you can include state sales tax as an itemized deduction. Itemized deductions have no effect unless you enough to exceed your standard deduction.
SALES TAX
You can enter the sales tax you paid in 2022 by going to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Estimates and Other Taxes Paid> Sales Tax.
Sales tax is an itemized deduction. “Major purchases” that you can enter for the sales tax deduction include:
Motor Vehicles (cars, trucks, motor homes, RV’s, sport utility vehicles and off-road vehicles
Aircraft or boats
Mobile homes
Manufactured housing
Building materials for major home improvements
You cannot deduct: furniture, jewelry, home electronics such as TV’s or computers
