My wife lives in Michigan but works out of Florida. I added a state W2 for both states she worked in for 2022. I start the Florida return and TurboTax tells me we don't need to do one for Florida so I skip that step. A few clicks later when finalizing my taxes, it then tells me that I skipped a state (Florida). So what am I supposed to do? My wife worked in MI for half the year in 2022, then started a new job based out of Florida but works remotely and lives in MI.

Florida does not have a state income tax, therefore you do not need to file any type of FL return for your wife. MI as the home state will tax all of her income.
You will only need to file a return for Michigan. All of her income (from working in MI and remotely for FL) for the year will be included on the MI return.

Thank you. Yes, that is what Turbo Tax first tells me when I try to add the Florida state taxes, but then when I review to file, it tells me that I haven't finished my state taxes and shows Florida as incomplete. Do I just ignore that and continue to file?
Yes, you will just ignore and continue to file.
