Go back to your W2 in the federal section. On the screen after the W-2 number entries double check to be sure there are no check marks in the box that say I earned this money as an inmate or in a half way house.

i never recieved the 1st or 2nd stimulus check i was incarcerated from june 2016 to june 2024 i filed they sent papers stating i was to verify my identity but not to me
