State review/file stuck in a loop(NJ)

I filed my federal taxes on 1/16 and tried to file my state taxes as well but after I fill in all the information I get to step 1 out of 3 and once I get to the “your orders” section and press continue I’m looped back to step 1 of 3. I’ve looked it up and tried all of the solutions I could find online(clearing cache, different device, private browser, clearing state and refilling, error check, etc) and it still wasn’t working. I decided to try again a few days later to no prevail. Now it’s been 15 days since I filed my federal and 11 days since federal has been accepted however I’m still stuck in the same loop I was when I tried filing 2 weeks ago. Helped my MIL do hers a few days ago and hers went through right away no problem. What is causing mine to keep looping and why hasn’t support fixed this problem yet. Especially when I’m paying $200+ to file my taxes.

We are aware that some customers are experiencing issues when trying to file but are looped back instead of being able to proceed and file.  We are currently investigating this issue. We will notify you once the program is updated.

I am having the same issue with my Alabama return being stuck in a loop. Has there been any resolution for this issue yet? Please let me know.
Thanks,

State review/file stuck in a loop(NJ)

A continuous loop at the final step of TurboTax Online, particularly reverting to Step 1, is usually caused by a corrupted browser cache, a locked session, or unaddressed validation errors.

Immediate "Quick Fixes"

  • Use an Incognito/Private Window: Open a new Incognito or Private window in your browser, log into TurboTax, and try to file. This bypassed cached files and extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with submission.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies: Clear your browser's history, specifically cache and cookies, then close the browser completely and restart it.
  • Switch Browsers: If you are using Chrome, try Firefox, Safari, or Edge. This forces a new session with Intuit servers.

Troubleshooting:

  • Check for Unresolved Errors: The "loop" often happens because of a missing field that isn't displaying correctly. Go to the Review section in the left-hand menu and re-run both the Federal and State reviews to ensure all errors are resolved.
  • Remove State Return (If Stuck on State): If the loop happens during state filing, remove the state return, then add it back to trigger a refresh of the forms.
  • Re-check Personal Information: Sometimes, a special character in an address or a missing phone number in the "Personal Info" section can cause a validation loop.
  • Avoid "Pay with Refund": Some customers have reported that opting to pay fees with a credit card instead of deducting from the refund breaks the loop.
