State of Residency

I do not live in the USA. Have no property there. What do I fill in when asked for State of Residency? Tom

In the Personal Info section, it asks for your state of residence on December 31, 2016. If you did not live in the USA on that date, then in the dropdown list of states, way down at the bottom after Wyoming is "Foreign or US Possession."
