State Id number

I worked for the NYC DOE and there is no state ID number on the W2. The hold time is over 4 hours when I call the department or the State Revenue this is the second day I tried and I am working so I cant hold for hours for a number is there another way to find this information that should be on the W2?

State Id number

Simply enter the federal EIN in the state ID number field with no dashes and no letters. This should allow you to move forward.
