I have a rental property that I rent through a property management company so should I answer yes on tangible personal property in Florida?
Turbo Tax mention "if you operate a business or a farm" but I found this on the internet:
Who Files TPP Returns?
Any of the following who own TPP on January 1 must
file a TPP return with the county property appraiser
by April 1 each year:
Anyone who
o Has a proprietorship
o Has a partnership
o Has a corporation
o Is a self-employed agent or
contractor
o Leases, lends, or rents property

Prior to answering any question on this subject, you should check the county property appraiser's web site for the county in which your rental is located (see the link below).
There is some variability in the definition of "tangible personal property", used in residential rental property, between counties (some, for example include water heaters while others do not), some counties have customized their DR-405 forms, and a few even offer online filing directly through their web sites.

Thank you, @Anonymous_.
I called and Palm Beach Tax and they informed that only businesses or when I rent more than one house. I asked by the county document to back me up but the person mentioned that I should look on https://www.pbctax.com/. None information was found. I will answer no to the question. Thanks again.
No, is the correct answer . Tangible property is property that has physical substance and can be touched. However, it does not include real estate or money.
