SC State tax filing reads ineligible for e-filing. Note reads "non-calendar year return". How do I e-file?

What is non calendar year?

A non-calendar year is a 365 day fiscal year that is other than Jan 1 to Dec 31.  Did you perhaps move to or from SC during 2020?  If so, you should be filing a part year resident return.

Or are you doing some kind of business return?

I was a full year resident and I am getting that error as well. Will not let me efile. Please help

I marked resident of SC entire year.  I'm not a business.

Are you using the CD/Desktop version?

• If so, click Forms in the upper right
• Search for Form SC1040 in the left column (Forms in My Return)
• Click on Form SC1040
• At the top you will see For the year January 1 – December 31, 2020, or fiscal tax year beginning ____, 20202 and ending _____ 2021. Is there anything in those boxes? If so, remove them.
