My income is not that different this year than last. I should owe some state tax based on some self-employment income that I have in addition to W2 income. The summary page says I owe zero, even though my state tax liability is more than the taxes I paid throughout the year, as shown on the summary page. It said I owed until I was reviewing the taxes at the end and said there was an error concerning the EITC, it had an unchecked box. I thought I checked the correct one, but then my taxes dropped to zero. I definitely do not qualify for the EITC. How do I get to the form so I could review it to make sure it's not trying to take the credit for me?

I have completed by federal return and now the only state income I have is 1099 interest. When I input the interest in the federal return, the state return continually says I don't owe nor do I get a refund. It is as if the software is not recognizing my input or the info did not transfer over from federal to state.
Any advice?
Go to the federal input section.
You should see a message indicating if you are getting the Earned Income credit or not with an explanation.

It says that I am not, I've checked it a hundred times but something still just doesn't seem right. Can you see the actual tax forms/worksheets somewhere?
In TurboTax, you can view your New York tax summary for your 2020 tax return by doing the following:
After you review the above items, simply select "Back" in the black panel to get back to the interview forms.
If this does not help or if you want to see the actual forms, you will need to pay for the forms before you can access them. You do not need to file yet.
On the black panel on the left, select:
See the attached for additional information.
Thank you. It's not the EIC mucking it up, but my Line 76 Total Payments is blank (should not be) as is Line 80 Amount I owe (also should not be). Something is literally not adding/subtracting correctly. Is there a way to clear everything out and reimport the info from my federal return?
Yes, you can choose to delete the state and then add it back in again.
I would recommend reviewing your input in the federal section first though to make sure your withholdings or estimated tax payments are coded to the correct state.
Once you do that, if you are still having issues, you can do the following:
The withholding shows up just fine, it's just not being transferred to the summary box on the form.
I don't have the option to delete my state return, just edit - when I click "start over" it just tells me I've already started it and brings me to the normal state page.
