S-corp in Florida, moving to New York State (Utica)
I have had an s-corp in Florida for many years. I always have lived in Florida and paid taxes in Florida. I am moving to New York State for a new job ( I will be paid with a 1099) and I was wondering if I can keep the s-corp in Florida and get paid with a W-2 by that company while I live in New York State or if I have to open a new s-corp in NY.
Thanks

You don't have to open a new S corp in NY but NY is going to tax you on your w-2 income and the net profit from the S corp if you become an NY resident.
