Update link says update is for Federal. We need PA State Schedule D update
Its March 2nd now and i am still having the PA Schedule D issue. I also checked for updates & none to be found yet. Would like to get my refund sooner than later, so if you all could get this fixed ASAP it would be helpful. I've been a loyal TT user & consumer for at least 15 years - this is the first time i have ever had a problem...
Hi, I wanted to follow up with your helpful post. I just try to e-file both returns (3/2 9:20am) hoping the software would allow it, regardless of the PA state error and the final e-file step brought the same old mentioned error discussed in this thread. Not fixed yet! I'm curious about your noted consensus dates but will try to file again this weekend. Thanks
We gotta hope that tomorrow, the 3/3 date that was given will finally allow the 100+ transactions to go through for the PA schedule D. Otherwise I’m not sure what I’m personally planning on doing. Trying another service even though I’ve already filed federal on here? Just doing it by hand and mailing it to PA?
@AJN728 What is the specific message you are receiving? We have been informed that the filing issue was resolved; having said that, if you are still seeing an issue we want to assist you to get it resolved, although from this public forum we may be limited in doing so.
Check the feed like we do cuz I been on 3 calls and 6 chats with nobody having a fix. Just the wait for Pa schedule D update and can’t transmit as well. What a fiasco
Looks like the issue is fixed now
This error is definitely not fixed. I just got the same error message on the PA Schedule D. Wasted two weeks and a lot of time using Turbo Tax this year because of this problem. Looks like I will be doing PA taxes manually this year.
@DanielV01 I am no longer getting the message about needing an update for a schedule D due to more than 100+ transactions, it looks like I can go through and file now past the review which I couldn’t before. However, now the first line is a summarization total of stock transactions, and I realize there’s a discrepancy between federal numbers and PA due to difference in wash sale rules. But my total income number from 1099 is lower here than federal so I don’t feel quite confident enough to just send through and file without confirming these numbers are right.
Still NOT working getting same error on PA Tax Schedule D, which I reported to TT customer service over two weeks ago, and the 'expert' would not do anything. No updates to load as of right now. I also have amount discrepancies between federal and PA schedule D's because of 'wash sales'.
Finally, it seem like this issue is fix for me
Yes, it's working now---or worked for me, at least.
Just tried again. NOT working for me. Still getting same errors on PA tax Schedule D for 'wash sales'. No updates to load since last week, and there were no PA state tax updates loaded then.
Since it is working for everyone else, I give up on ever getting this resolved this year. With the bad experience I had with customer service, I will do it manually before calling again.
@DanielV01 its not solved !!! I repeat its not solved !!!
the same error message pops up:
Schedule D TP: Net cap gain/loss We're still working on PA Schedule D for returns with greater than 100 capital gain transactions. You'll need to get an update before you file your return in order to ensure that all of the calculations are correct. To receive an update, select Check for Updates from the online menu to connect to our website.
I am waiting till 03/04/2022 . If its not working until friday iwill send my pa tax return manually and print what i have from you. if Pennsylvania will reject my PA return iwill inform them that is is TTs failure and mistake in an explanatory letter. I will shown them everything i have from you also the receipts that i paid twice for your services.
THIS IS YOUR FAULT TURBO TAX !!!
