I paid you a fee to file and pay my VA taxes on time. The taxes were filed, but the money was not sent to the VA tax office. Now, I have a late tax bill, with a fee and interest from Richmond. What gives?! I've never been late with my taxes for more than 40 years. I need some kind of explanation here, but I don't see a phone number to call.

TurboTax does not pay any type of taxes owed, federal or state.
TurboTax only sends the payment information you entered to the IRS and State. The IRS and State then debit your account based on the information for direct debit you entered.
Most states do not allow a direct debit of state taxes owed from a bank account when using tax preparation software, such as TurboTax.
You were given specific options in Step 2 of the File section on how to pay the state taxes owed.
Look at the Filing Instructions for the state tax return in the PDF you can download from Print Center. It will show you how you selected to pay the state taxes owed.
Additionally, state taxes owed can never be deducted from a federal tax refund, Never.
To access your current year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and Click on Add a state
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
