I filed my taxes through you on 7/12/20. They were E-filed and billing information/account info was available to pay them, but they were not paid. Why???

There are many states that do not do a direct debit from your account when you file your tax return. When you prepared your return did you look to see how your state wants to be paid?
You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment. For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.

I was not aware that that was required by WV and since I was filing with you you should have made me aware of that. I filed with you last year and had to pay and it was taken out of my account then so I figured it would be the same this year.
