I recently got a letter in the mail saying I owe $600 from not submitting a SD 100 on my 2022 tax return. I contacted Ohio tax customer service and They said turbo tax possibly didn’t send it because they have ran into that before. Where would I go to find it? All I see is a “IT 1040” form for all of my tax filings all the way back to 2019 and no SD 100 on any of them

Your OH school district tax return is an extra step in the state software when you prepare your state tax return. If you did not prepare the school district return, then you need to take care of that, but online software is no longer available to use for any past year returns. You can try using the desktop download for those returns or you can get the forms from the state and prepare them by hand yourself to submit by mail.
If you already paid for your online software you can ask customer support for a download of the desktop software.
They are available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday - Friday

Ohio has a complicated system of taxes that include local and city taxes as well as school district taxes in some areas. It is your responsibility to know which local taxes you need to prepare and pay. If you still live in the same area now in 2025, you had better take a look at your returns for 2023 and 2024 too before you receive delinquency notice for those years.
TurboTax only prepares a few city or local tax returns as an extra step in your state return. For most local tax returns you are on your own. You may have to ask around amongst your neighbors, etc. to find out if you have a local tax and how to pay it. “Google “ local tax for your area. Call your city government, etc. Your only record of paying your local tax will be your own bank/credit card records
TurboTax (TT) does not automatically prepare a School District return (form SD100), you must initiate it*.
At the screen, in the Ohio program, titled "A few things before we wrap up your state taxes"
scroll down to School District taxes.
Or later at the screen "Your 2024 Ohio Taxes are ready for us to check"
-Click Other situations
-Scroll down to School District taxes.
Usually the School District Income Tax (SDIT) return is e-filed with the state return, but there are exceptions. Read the Ohio 'filing instructions" that TurboTax prepares, They will tell you if the SD100 was e-filed or if you have to mail it. YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO MAIL IT NOW
At this point, you may actually find it easier to do an SDIT return by hand, than in TT. For the form, see https://tax.ohio.gov/static/webview/view1/UIExtension/1/pdf-view.html?filename=forms/school_district...
* TurboTax (TT) does also not automatically prepare a city return, you must initiate it.
