Schedule INC, Forms W-2 and 1099 Information Schedule

The schedule for forms being released says the following:

Schedule INC, Forms W-2 and 1099 Information Schedule:   Print will be available 1/28 and E-file is unsupported

I'm seeing different meanings to this in the community. some say we have to wait until February 12th, while others say it needs to be printed. does unsupported mean there is no information on when this form will be ready to e-file or does it mean it needs to be printed

No, but you will need to wait to e-file until your State's Dept. of Revenue releases the final version of this form. When your State form is finalized, you will then be able to log back in and take care of this. The system is just letting you know that should you choose to, you can elect to print them now. They still will not begin processing until the date that is specified by your State, but it is just giving you that option.
