You cannot go to the forms in the online versions of TT.
TT Ohio software will automatically generate the Business Income Deduction (BID) if the federal section generates Schedule C for the 1099-NEC income.
I'm using TT desktop Deluxe (not online) and it is working correctly here. I can't verify if there's an online bug, but there is no major change from last year in the BID.
Verify that Schedule C was generated (you may have to upgrade to TT Self Employed).
Thanks - I'm using the desktop version, and there's a Federal Schedule C with income and expenses for our LLC. Maybe something was messed up when I transferred last years return in or something. The only difference is this year I got a 1099-NEC versus 1099-MISC. I'll just start a new return to see if it fixes things.
On my 2023 form, I'm fairly certain that TurboTax completed the Ohio Business Form by itself.
However, I now see that TurboTax did NOT fill out the OH business form for the 2022 tax year, so now it looks like I need to file an amended form. Not happy about that. This is something that TT needs to fix and be sure is working for us.
PS It looks like I can enter the information on the 2022 form, but I want to double check with TT before I re-file)
