My taxes are completed, but I am not allowed to e-file in NYS because I keep getting an error message that says:
"Pension/Annuities/IRA worksheet: Txble Pens/IRA(Reg Dist) We're still working on updates related to Retirement Distributions that qualify for disaster or covid relief. You can keep working on your return and we'll remove this message when it's ready."
Is there an ETA for when this will be fixed so I can file? NYS will not allow me to paper-file.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Same thing happening to me today too...very frustrating. New York as well.
You're not alone @Kruzynski . I've been dealing with this for 48 hours and I nearly loss it yesterday. I had to deal with 4 support reps to finally be told we are working to update this form.
Were you given a time frame?
THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING. I HOPE IT GETS FIXED SOON.
I was told 5 March by support.
Me as well! So, we just wait.....ugh
Thank goodness you guys have answers. I just spent AN HOUR with a woman who had no clue what the issue was. So frustrating. Now we just wait for March 5th? Annoying.
This is extremely frustrating and should have been fixed by now!! A lot of taxpayers are waiting to file their hard earned money!
Dear Turbo tax programmers I proposed a solution. Case when form = 'Pension/Annuities/IRA worksheet' AND state_cd = 'NY' then 'OK' else 'Fail' end. Submit. Show me the money! I'm done complaining. No one is listening.
Did anyone ask if they would still give the reduced price for situations like this? They had a reduction of price if you filed before February 28th... I’ve been trying to do this since the 26th.
Same issue. Following.
Still will not let us transmit the return because of the issue on this form
Here were are March 5th and the problem still is NOT FIXED!
Same here just tried to file and get the same problem nothing was fixed or updated yet. Starting to get a little pissed off, this is the second time I’ve been lied to about dates forms would be updated!
