Me too! I still have a pending charge on my card to e-file NJ state but it was not possible for me to e-file.
If anybody successfully reaches Intuit about this, please share the info here.
I seen a post that they are aware of the issue and it should be fixed today. Who knows I already wasted my whole day off on this deleting and re entering info thinking it’s something I did. I will check back tomorrow.
Same problem
This is a known issue caused by an update to the New Jersey forms that were just released. It is being worked on and you should keep checking back to see if it is fixed.
I guess someone jammed this update into production without completely running quality assurance testing. It surely should have been caught before it scared and confused so many customers!!! Not to mention the call volumes in your Help Desk!!!
Lesson learned TurboTax????
I have the same problem...I am not a business owner, My returns were submitted yesterday and my federal return was rejected due to a duplicate W2 . My state was rejected due to my federal being rejected, the state software updated and now I'm getting this error "Returns with pass-through business alternative income tax credit are not eligible for electronic filing" . How do we fix this??
Is there any information on when it will be corrected and how to update and resubmit returns that were already submitted?
You can file the federal without the state. I would delete the duplicate and then refill the federal. As far as the NJ state return is is all messed up and everyone is getting the message that you got including me. They are saying to mail the state in. If you can hold off a little on the state end maybe TT will have it fixed and you can Efile it. If not it looks like we all have to Print and Mail it. TT in my IMO should refund us all that paid to have our state Efile.
I am having the same issue. Is this being fixed?
Can someone advise current status on this issue?
It was fixed in a patch tonight
Same here I was told they it’s an error and should be updated within a few days and then we can efile return
All, Turbo Tax has place a NJ update fo download which corrects this isssue of this thread. I downloaded the update and was able to efile my return with no further issues.
Sch NJ-DOP: Sch DOP, Line 4-Net gains This form may require an adjustment that has not been finalized for this release. You must obtain an update before you file your return in order to ensure that all of the calculations are correct.
Also if you own property you will get this message: Form NJ-1040 P2: Ln 38c - Owned Home County Muni Code should be blank.
ir should not be Blank. Seems to be fixed for some but still getting these errors that prevent you from Efile.
