I lived, worked & filed my tax in California all my life.  I just bought a property & started working remotely in Florida on March 2023.  I stayed there more than 6months+1 days and converted my residency to Florida in May 2023.  Do I file tax with Florida or both states?  I also changed my mailing address on my employer salary so I should receive my W2 with Florida address.  I need to pay estimate tax on stock I sold with my previous employer based in California, should I do it using Florida or California turbo tax?

Additional info:  I registered my car, have car insurance, own a home in Florida in March 2023.  My employer is in California but I am working remotely anywere I like.  First three month Jan-March I worked in California but after that I am in Florida.  I owned few investment properties in Caliofornia so I flewed back & forth few wks since May-Dec 2023 to manage repairs & settle tenants move-in/out.  I had records of time I spent in Florida & Ca both with Florida more than half a year.  I guess I can change my bank statement if needed to prove my status but is that required?

Did you actually move your domicile (your main, primary home) from CA to FL in May 2023?  See "Change of Domicile" on page 10 of this California tax publication for an explanation:

If you did change your domicile in May, then for 2023 you will file a part-year resident CA tax return.  CA can tax all the income you earned prior to the change of domicile.  CA can also tax any CA-source income that you earned after you established your domicile in FL.  Note that rental income from property located in CA is CA-source income.

Florida, of course, has no personal income tax.
