Moved to the US with H1b in 05/01/2019 , should i file taxes before April 15 ?

I Moved to the US with H1b in 05/01/2019 , do i need to file taxes before April 15 ? , my understand is that April 15th deadline is for 2018 income where i wasn't working in the US, in this correct ? would be enough to file my taxes only next year for 2019 ?

The April 15, 2019 deadline is for 2018 tax returns.  If you didn’t earn U.S. income in 2018, then you don’t need to file a return for 2018. If you earn income in 2019 you will need to file a 2019 return by April 15, 2020.
