Decades ago when I left a company, I rolled over my 401K into two IRA mutual funds. Through the years, I have not contributed to any IRA, and both mutual funds have made gains.
I withdrew my first RMD from one of the two mutual funds in 2019, including for 2018.
I'm filing the 2020 return, what should I enter for "Other Contributions Previously Taxed by Massachusetts", and for "Total Distributions Received in Previous Years"?
Thanks.

If you did not make any after-tax contributions to the IRA then you will enter $0 for "Other Contributions Previously Taxed by Massachusetts"
For "Total Distributions Received in Previous Years" enter the amount you withdrew in 2019 since this was your only distribution.
Yes, it is accumulative.

Thanks for the response.
Just want to confirm that "Total Distributions Received in Previous Years" is accumulative. For my next year's (2021) filing, I would enter the combined RMDs for 2019 and for 2020. And so on.
Yes, it is accumulative.
Thanks.
