Maryland State 2019 itemized deductions

Why is Turbotax not using my itemized deductions on the Maryland State Return?  I have enough to qualify and the information was entered for the Federal return.

Bear in mind you cannot itemize on your MD return if you use the standard deduction on your federal return. You should verify that you have selected to use itemized deductions on your federal return.  Even if you enter the itemized deductions, if they do not provide a tax benefit over the standard deduction, then TurboTax selects the standard deduction by default.  You have to select itemized if you wish to change it.
