Got the KY State Error Message also, should I go ahead and E-file my Federal then now and come back to E-file State later. That option is available but I wonder if I would need to fix my Federal side of things first when Turbo Tax gets this fixed. If I E-file Federal now, I can't go back in fix anything if needed without doing an Amended Return later. Is this correct what I am thinking?
I got this exact same message too. Then I was like okay fine, so I'll mail it in, whatever, but TurboTax still wants to pay for the state fee. Jokes on them. If I can't submit it for e-filing, they shouldn't get a penny for state because this is clearly an issue on their end. I don't even have children, nor did I claim any, they can clearly see that. TurboTax is drunk, go home.
I came here yesterday to ask the same thing. I’m almost afraid to file federal and come back later to state because what if something else is wrong. I am definitely not trying to give myself more of a headache after this ordeal. And They keep directing us to that link that states the issue is resolved. Super aggravated at this point.
I caved and paid the extra just to talk to a human. ZERO help. Just to be told it’s something on their end and nothing I did. But no one offered me my money back. All I got was the generic “sign up for email updates” I also noticed that post was 3days ago. So they could have let us know there was a problem. Seems like a shady way to get us to “upgrade” and pay more.
I am having exactly the same issue. Never claim any dependent care and SSN for me is already there. Deleted return and started fresh to same problem.
