You pay tax to the state you lived in.  TX has no state income tax so you have no issues with having to file two state returns.

All of the states that have income tax will tax 100% of all income earned, regardless of location.  Those states will then give credit for the taxes paid in the other state.  Unfortunately, Texas does not have an income tax; therefore nothing was withheld, and there will be no credit.
